The game supports Cross-Buy function, meaning that you only need to spend MYR23, the price of one version, and you will be able to get all of the three versions!


RESOGUN: Heroes expansion announced!

Great news everyone, the humans are back!



The explosive PS4 launch title, RESOGUN, is finally getting more content in the form of the Heroes expansion and a complimentary patch.





RESOGUN: Heroes will introduce two brand new modes called ‘Survival’ and ‘Demolition’. In essence Survival is an endless mode that retains a lot of the core mechanics from the original Arcade mode. We switched up a few things like scoring and also gave the humans parachutes as you can see in the image below.



The Day/Night cycle is another really prominent feature of the new Survival mode, and as you play, the varying time of day provides a great aesthetic and visual indication, letting you know how far you have come.



Survival mode is for the players that know they can always do a bit better and there are a lot of cool new things to learn while you take the ride, but as we intend to stay true to the arcade feeling, we will let you discover the twists yourself.


Demolition is my personal favorite and a quantum leap from the original gameplay mechanics. “Arkanoid meets RESOGUN” is one way to sum it up.



Basically you get a “Wrecking Ball” that you manipulate to demolish all that comes in your way. That plus a lot of special pickups that totally change the way the game kills you; multiball, extra balls, ball launching, ball level ups, (i.e. lots of balls) etc.



Demolition has you watching out for not only the enemies coming at you, but also the chaotic bombardment of the unpredictable main weapon in the mode. Oh yeah, you can also only move and your only weapon is a limited proximity explosion. No boost, overdrive, or bombs. TL:DR You will die a lot, it will be insanely fun and I cannot wait to see people throwing their controllers around.


In the patch we will have a lot of small fixes to improve the original game, new leaderboard and friend functions, plus a lot more we will explain in greater detail later. On top of all this all RESOGUN owners will get the Ship Editor and the Local Coop mode for free!



Sounds too good to be true, but we felt like these needed to be a part of the core RESOGUN experience, so therefore patching them in for free seemed like the proper way to go.


The patch will go live for everyone on 23 June.


The Heroes expansion will go live on 3 July and the full price will be MYR20.


But, also on 3 July, we will provide an option for you to buy a Season Pass that includes the Heroes expansion pack, and will let you be the first to download more great game add-ons that we are developing, as soon as they’re released, at no extra cost.



Future expansions will add yet more game modes, along with a range of other content, additional trophies and the original soundtrack, and the season pass is attractively priced at a lowly MYR30 which is simply a steal for the convenience it offers and ensuring you have the full and definitive RESOGUN experience.



And, if you don’t have RESOGUN, there will be a 30% discount on the main game, the Heroes expansion pack and the Season Pass from 3 July to 16 July, and, if you are a PlayStation®Plus member, you’ll also benefit from an additional 10% discount on the full prices as noted above.



That about covers it. The humans are back with a vengeance and greener than ever!

When Vikings Attack! Now with more Hopping Zombies, Giant Fish and body Popping Robots…

Hey everyone,


It’s been a while but we’re back with some updates on “When Vikings Attack”!


So what’s been happening since the last update?   Well apart from tirelessly working on the game day and night the team have been to Gamescom, Comic Con and the game took a trip to the Eurogamer Expo in London over the weekend of 29th September.  All of the events were great, we were all super happy to get your tweets and positive reactions so big thanks goes out to everyone who played the game!


Anyway, It seems about time that we announced the winner of our character design competition. We got so many crazy, weird and wonderful entries and it was incredibly hard for us to choose just 3 from all the entries across the globe.   However in the end the team made the call to choose designs that allowed them to do some cool animations to flesh the characters out, there was a desire to make some cool stand out characters and with the help of your deigns we think that’s been possible.

We choose this one out of all the entries because we immediately saw the opportunity to create a cool animation around it, the idea of a guy running around with a giant fish on his head… well it just spoke to us.

We choose Auscenic because we really, really wanted a body popping robot in the game.  So maybe we have to apologise to the artist if this robot was intended to be some kind of blood thirsty Viking killing machine because in our game… he’s a dancing machine.  That’s just the way these things go right?  How many times have evil companies turned innocent technology into weapons?  We prefer this approach.

Our game is set in Britain so we have lots of quirky British characters in there, for this one we wanted something a bit different so when we came across a traditional Chinese hopping Zombie in the entries we had to go for it.  Games are full of Zombies these days… not enough hopping zombies though.  Come on people!  Let’s rebalance things!
