The annual E3 press conferences have finally come to an end so now it’s about time to recall all the big and small news that have caught everyone’s attention!
Nearly six months after the launch of PlayStation®Vita, we continue to be overwhelmed by the positive response from our gaming community. We can continue to look forward to a continued expansion of the PS Vita title lineup, as more new titles taking gamers by surprise. New titles scheduled for this year include “Assassin’s Creed 3: Liberation”, “PlayStation® All-Stars Battle Royale”, in addition to a deep lineup of more than 60 titles that will be available before the end of the fiscal year.
PlayStation®3 continues to deliver rich, immersive and exclusive games. The talented team at Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide Studios is taking full advantage of the PS3™ system to bring four brand-new exclusive titles to the platform- “Beyond”, “God of War: Ascension”, “Last of Us”, and “PlayStation All-Stars Battle Royale”.
“Wonderbook” is another new release under the spotlight. It is a physical book and when used together with PlayStation®Eye it brings you a completely new experience for PS3™ unlike anything you’ve ever seen. With the collaboration of J.K. Rowling, creator of the magical world of “Harry Potter”, the first title “WonderBook: Book of Spells” is already under development and features exclusive and new original writings from the author. Players can use the PlayStation®Move motion controller as their magic wand to learn and master the art of spell-casting.
PlayStation®Mobile – previously called PlayStation®Suite – is about delivering the world of PlayStation® to open operating system-based mobile devices. It is our goal to ensure that wherever you are and wherever you go, PlayStation’s compelling entertainment is always available for you to enjoy. HTC is the first non-Sony group partner to join the PlayStation™ Certified licensing program, which will help to expand the PlayStation® experience even more.
After going through all the E3 highlights, I bet you are now extremely excited towards the coming gaming year. Well, as our slogan at E3 goes, we will never stop playing!
